Day 2 of the Elusive Catch-Up Time (a.k.a. "The Weekend")

Woke up at 5:15 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I got up at 6. Only got half way through my e-mail, however, before Alex got up and kicked me off the computer. Cleaned up the kitchen, made breakfast, did two loads of laundry, got Alex into his bath, and printed out neighborhood event flyers before our 9 a.m. neighborhood association board meeting. Still didn't get caught up, but was pretty productive overall. And I even had time to make dinner and spend some extended time with Alex. (Super Bowl? What Super Bowl?)

Done:
- Cleaned up kitchen (no one did dishes yesterday and there was a huge mess from a large lemonade-making project)
- Did four loads of laundry (even got three of them folded and put away)
- Printed out 100 neighborhood event flyers
- Got Alex fed and bathed and delivered to his play date
- Attended neighborhood association board meeting
- Went to mall and bought a present for Alex to take to a birthday party (two, actually, one this week and one next)
- Wrapped present
- Caught up on e-mail
- Did weekly church website updates and handled several other church e-mail, mailing list and website queries
- Walked the dog
- Reprogrammed the sprinkler system
- Spent a guilty half hour reading the Sunday paper
- Made dinner
- Read a magazine and half a book with Alex...and got him in bed and asleep by 8:40
